Open for Tours

We have almost 500 casks laid down (or standing up if truth be told as most of them are palletised) and yet we are repeatedly asked if the distillery is “open” and sometimes is it “working” so while we have been busy beavering away perfecting the recipes, refining the processes and getting rather too intimate with the mill room – we have also been equipping what was to be our offices in the reception area into a make shift shop and visitor experience.
We invited the local community down for an open day to see the distillery and thank them for all the support as we have got the Ardara Distillery into production. We have invited Jon Breslin and the team from Highland Radio to do an outside broad cast from the distillery.

A lot of fun was had and it was great to see so many friendly faces. We don’t have everything we require so I hope people will bear with us as we get up to speed and learn (quickly) how to make everything work. Special thanks to the teams of builders, electricians, distillers etc who have gone above and beyond to ensure we could get open.
